The Guardian and Observer Digital Archive makes available online every page of the Guardian since 1821 and the Observer - the oldest Sunday paper in the world – since 1791.
Previously only available on microfiche or in fragile bound copies, you can now take a journey through time from the execution of Marie Antoinette to the first man on the moon at the click of a mouse.
The Digital Archive includes over 1.2 million pages of articles, photographs, cartoons, illustrations and advertisements up to the year 2000.
All LGfL secondary schools can enjoy 24/7 access free of charge.
